The Voice on the Other Line

VOHTA-110NWS, 'Tenner', and her supervisor, VOHTA-55NWS, 'Noose', have a mission: get into the red zone, prune back the parasite as it grows, and keep it clear of the humans, shielding them from the dangerous radiation it gives off. The parasite has two options to defend itself. Physical violence, or an invasion of the mind.

It can only get in if you take the bait. But if it understands the things haunting you, that's more easily said than done.
