The Array
A downloadable short story
Urban explorer Val has been contracted by the people of a small town with a simple job: to the north, there's a military array that's stood abandoned since the end of the war, its purpose unknown. Val is supposed to shut it down. It's easy money, she figures, get in there, flip a breaker, get out, get paid, and for a while, at least, she can live in luxury. A much needed break from scrabbling to survive. As for those missing hikers... they probably just left town. Right?
The Array is an 8500 word psychological horror short.
